Chris Messervy was born and raised in the Huntsville area. Throughout his life, he has actively participated in his school and community. Upon graduating from Grissom High School he obtained a full four-year scholarship to the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Immediately after graduation, he accepted a job with a small manufacturer in Denver, CO as the Director of Sales and Marketing. There he also developed and managed two successful online companies. After the manufacturer was successfully acquired, Chris decided to return to the University of Alabama to pursue a career in law. During law school, Chris served on the Trial Team, as the Law Review Articles Editor for the Journal of the Legal Profession, and as an extern for the Alabama Supreme Court. After law school, Chris returned home to Huntsville to practice. Presently, Chris exercises the skills developed during his education and years of courtroom practice in effectively litigating cases in several areas of the law. Chris participates in the local Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association where he served as President of the Young Lawyers Section in 2008. Chris believes in continually giving back to the community through various service organizations. As a former Eagle Scout, he currently serves in the Boy Scouts of America as an Assistant Scoutmaster for a local troop. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys participating in various sports, outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife and four children.
